It’s 66° in Florida, so naturally I’m wearing a sweaterand freezing at the soccer field. 😂 I’m bringing You Better Watch Out by James S. Murray and Darren Wearmouth with me. I picked it because the cover looked Christmas-y, and apparently “thriller” is all the convincing I needed. I have zero clue what it’s about, but it’s thin, fits in my purse, and looks perfect for reading between games. I’m also listening to an audiobook today, so this is technically physical book #20 for October. Has anyone read this one? 🎄📚 #BookTok #BookishTikTok #ThrillerBooks #Inverted

Finally figured out how to connect my audiobook to my car Bluetooth… and immediately learned I don’t know how to turn it off fast enough. 😳 I pulled up to the coffee shop drive-thru right in the middle of a spicy scene in Bad in Bed by Ali Hazelwood. I’m not even a spicy-book person, and now my face is the color of the hottest red pepper on the planet. To the coffee shop staff who got an unexpected audio experience with their coffee order: I’m so sorry. I was just trying to listen to an audiobook. 😭 #BookTok #AudiobookTok #BadInBed #AliHazelwood #AudiobookProblems

BookTok talked me into Hollywood, Ending by John Green, and I went in knowing nothing about it. Then, right at the beginning, Juniper talks about losing her mom. I lost my mom in January, and my mother-in-law just two weeks ago. I know Juniper’s relationship with her mom is complicated, but that opening still stopped me in my tracks. I’m only a little way in, and already this feels like one of those books that finds you when you need it. 💔 #HollywoodEnding #JohnGreen #BookTok #Audiobook #CurrentlyListening
