You have to do the “Big 6” before any lymphatic or fascia therapy. This is the first step in my decongesting formula ✨ 1. Clavicle 2. Ears 3. Armpits 4. Cisterna Chyli (abdomen) 5. Groin 6. Knees These are done in 3s — 3 times each. It is imperative that you do this daily to support proper lymphatic drainage and flow. 💫 👉 Ready to explore the journey? Your mouth is more connected to your body than most people realise. Poor oral hygiene doesn’t just affect teeth and gums — it can contribute to gut dysbiosis, increased intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”), and chronic systemic inflammation throughout the body. For people living with lipoedema, this matters even more Lipoedema is already an inflammatory condition involving lymphatic dysfunction, pain, swelling, tenderness, and fat tissue changes. When chronic inflammation is constantly triggered from sources like gum disease or oral bacteria, it may worsen symptoms and place extra stress on the immune and lymphatic systems. The mouth–gut–body connection is real: 🦷 Gum inflammation → 🦠 Bacteria & toxins enter the bloodstream → 🌱 Gut microbiome disruption → 🔥 Systemic inflammation increases → 💜 Lipoedema symptoms may intensify Small daily habits can make a big difference: ✔️ Brush & floss daily ✔️ Clean your tongue ✔️ Prioritise regular dental care ✔️ Support gut health ✔️ Stay hydrated & support lymphatic flow ✔️ Reduce inflammatory load where possible A healthy mouth supports a healthier gut. A healthier gut supports a less inflamed body. And every small step matters. 👉Ready to explore the journey? First off — this takes time. You won’t see results overnight, but I cannot stress this enough: Less is more. Less pressure. Less equipment. Less time. Less is more. Whether you use a small gua sha, my go-to Face Blaster, or a large gua sha — it’s not about forcing the tissue. Since March, I’ve been doing extremely light work on my tissue. A super gentle version of fascia therapy that I call “brushing my fascia” or “brushing my tissue.” The key is consistency. My tissue is looking smoother, more sculpted, and healthier. After my patella tendon injury, I wasn’t allowed to do self-care on my left leg in case I injured myself further. Other than cold therapy, I had to leave it alone — and I could literally see changes happening. The skin started puckering again. With lipedema, if you don’t stay on top of it, things can regress. It wasn’t progression, it was the lack of self-care and the skin laxity returning. I was warned not to do pressure-based fascia therapy on myself, so I compromised. I said fine — I’ll do extremely light work instead, but in my own rhythm and sequence. I knew I wouldn’t see changes in a week. But now it’s been 6 weeks, and the change is visible. People keep asking me what I’ve done to my legs. So here it is again: Less is more. 👉 Ready to explore the journey?
