We want to address some of the comments that have appeared on our page following our recent post. We welcome genuine questions, feedback and constructive criticism. However, we will not accept racism, racial abuse, or derogatory comments directed towards any member of our team. The colour of someone’s skin, their background or their nationality has absolutely no bearing on their ability to care for another person. Our staff deserve the same dignity and respect that we expect them to show to every person they support. We also want to reassure our clients and their families that all of our care staff have both written and oral English, are fully trained, Garda vetted, and, where applicable, have international police clearance. We take our responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of our clients extremely seriously. Kare Plan is a family-run company. We would never place someone into a client’s home whom we would not be comfortable welcoming into the home of one of our own family members. That principle is at the heart of how we operate and how we choose the people who represent Kare Plan. We are incredibly proud of our diverse team and the work they do every day to support older people and vulnerable members of our community. They are caring, compassionate and dedicated professionals, and they deserve to be treated with respect. You are entitled to your opinion. You are not entitled to use our page as a platform for racial abuse. Racism has no place here. 💙 #KarePlan #Respect #Dignity #Equality #HomeCare
