💙 A LITTLE THOUGHT ABOUT JYT'S NEW EP 💙 First of all, U GOT IT IS A CERTIFIED BANGER. I SAID WHAT I SAID. 😭🔥 JYT dropped their new EP with “U Got It,” “Don't Stop,” “Which One,” and “Together,” and I've seen people sharing their opinions about the songs. That's completely fine! Everyone has different music tastes. Personally, “U Got It” is THAT SONG for me, “Don't Stop” is a whole vibe, “Which One” is a vibe too, and “Together” gives me Disney soundtrack energy. 🥹💙 But something I've noticed is people calling “U Got It” a flop or saying it should be unreleased before the full song was even out. I've even seen someone call it a skip directly to Recker in a public comment section. And honestly, I think there's a difference between not liking a song and saying something like that directly where the artist who helped write it could see it. Nobody has to love every song JYT releases. You're allowed to have your own opinions, and I'm not saying otherwise. But judging an entire song from a few seconds of a clip before you've even heard the full thing feels unfair. “U Got It” was something different from what people might have expected, and that's okay! Artists should be allowed to experiment with their sound without people deciding a song is a flop before it's even released. You can have your opinion without being unnecessarily rude about it. Especially when you're saying it somewhere the people who made the music might actually see it.
