Tomorrow night I'm crossing off a big bucket list item that's very personal for me. This Thursday I'm seeing my all time favorite band Green Day! On this tour they're playing two of my favorite albums of all time: Dookie and American Idiot both from front to back! As you can tell in these pictures, I've grew up listening to this band, I can remember at a young age, learning how to play all the Tré Cool drum fills and later on figuring out how to play songs from Dookie and American Idiot on guitar. I would dress up as Billie Joe Armstrong every year on Halloween for about 5 years straight. My band Saving Atlas even performed as Green Day in 2021 for Ocalaween! (The video will be linked after this post) Need less to say, I have been inspired by this band and the fact that in 2024 I can finally get to see my all time favorite band mind blowing to me and I can finally say I will be crossing off the biggest bucket list item I've ever dreamed of. My dream is to play with @Green Day on stage for one song, can we make it happen?
