Honestly most of the it’s shit…which why we use a long lead! It’s a life savor, Juni has the freedom to run while protecting herself(from those uncontrolled off leash dogs)and others. She has the attention span and selective hearing of a toddler so recall will always be a work in progress! #tripawd #staffysoftiktok #pibble #pibblesoftiktok #bullybreeds #dogsoftiktok #recallyourdog #recalltraining #positivereinforcementdogtraining #positivereinforcement #fearfree #forcefreedogtraining #workinprogress

Fish Oil The brand we use is Welactin; this is the most common fish oil brand that I’ve seen recommended by vets. It comes in both chewable capsules and a liquid form. 2. D-Mannose This is a urinate tract health supplement. Juni get chronic UTIs and we think it’s either caused by stress or because of how she postures to pee she doesn’t empty her bladder fully. 3. Crananidin Cranberry supplement also for Juni’s UTIs. These are chewable tablets, they are a bit expensive though. 4. Coco and Luna Cranberry Cranberry supplement. We started Juni on this brand once we ran out of the Cranadidin because it was quite a bit cheaper but had all the same ingredients and similar amounts. So far so good! 5. Fluoxetine (Prozac) 20mg capsule We give Juni Prozac for her anxiety. She gets 1 capsule once a day. We were recently able to decrease her dose! 6. Psyllium Husk Juni gets 1/4 teaspoon of powdered psyllium husk twice daily mixed with water(cats get 1/8 tsp). Becuase of how Juni postures when she poops she doesn’t always express her anal glands fully(this is common with hind leg amputees). The psyllium husk bulks up her stool to help her express her glands! This way we only have to manually express them about 2-3 times per year(the more you manually express the more scar tissue builds up causing more problems later on). 7. Dasuquin Advanced Similar to the OTC Dasuquin and Cosequin, but this one is veterinary prescription only. There is extensive research behind it by help joint health over time. We only just started Juni on this one since she’s now heading into senior years after previously being on Vetriscience Glycoflex as a younger dog. 8. Adequan We just started Juni on Adequan injections which has been around for many years. It’s a drug that protects the joints and keeps them cushioned long term. It starts off as a twice weekly subcutaneous or intramuscular injection for 4 weeks then monthly long term. We were able to do the injections ourselves at home. We will be starting her on an injection called Librella which is for joint pain sometime in the next year or two. #tripawd #staffysoftiktok #pibble #disableddog #disabledpets #dogsoftiktok #3leggeddog #supplementsthatwork #veterinary #veterinarymedicine #petsupplements #adequan #welactin
