How could we make Hartlepool’s parks, beaches, community buildings and neighbourhoods better? Now’s the time to put your ideas forward. Through Labour’s Pride in Place programme, £200,000 is available in this first round of funding for projects that make a real, lasting difference to our town. 🌳 Improve parks, beaches and public spaces. 🏡 Upgrade community buildings and neighbourhood facilities. ⚽ Create better spaces for activities, recreation and community life. Charities, community groups, social enterprises, schools, public sector organisations and partnerships can apply. Have an idea but no organisation to apply through? Residents can also submit ideas to help shape future investment. The focus is on projects that deliver visible improvements, respond to local needs and involve residents in shaping their communities. 📈 THE INVESTMENT KEEPS ON COMING! There are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about Hartlepool’s future, and one of the biggest is seeing private investment bringing new opportunities into our town. I was delighted to visit FC Hartlepool and see the new padel courts being built by One Club. 🎾 It’s fantastic to see businesses investing in Hartlepool, creating new facilities and giving local people more opportunities to get active, socialise and enjoy themselves. This is what Hartlepool on the up looks like. New investment. New facilities. New opportunities. Hartlepool has huge potential, and when businesses see that potential and put their money behind it, it’s something worth celebrating. I’ll keep doing everything I can to champion our town, attract investment and make sure Hartlepool gets the opportunities it deserves. Hartlepool is going places.
