Though our future is uncertain, we must persevere. Over the last few years I have committed my time to visiting as many national parks as I can. So far I’ve seen 11 parks with another 10 or so planned for this year and countless other national lake shores, forests, and protected lands. These places are not only bucket lists items and tourists attractions. They make up the fabric of our landscapes. They are proof of how nature thrives without us here. They are vital ecosystems and home to wildlife. Too often, humankind assumes we’re the center of the universe but once you’ve stood at the edge of Grand Canyon or at the base of the Tetons or seen a herd of bison shepherding their babies in the spring, you’ll realize we are a small specks of dust in the grand scheme of things and some of us really want to dirty the earth for our own gain. Our public lands are not for sale. #protectourparks #nationalparks

I’ve had a lot of moments like these in my life, but this one is the most recent. 😍

I think its my mission in life to show how accessible travel of all kinds could be. In the last two years, I’ve visited over a dozen national parks. Many of them during off season or shoulder season and usually for just one day. No vacation time, no extended camping. Just an annual pass a little bit of strategic planning. That’s why im building a business to make taking day trips or weekend trips even easier. #buildabusiness #femalebusinessowner #nationalpark #travelrecs
