Couple things, because I feel like this needs to be said. 🤷🏼‍♀️ My platform has grown from me being REAL. The good days, bad days, mom guilt, kid drama, cleaning, anxiety, depression, stress, and maybe a little cussing thrown in. 😂 Recently, I’ve gotten backlash for being so open, and I’m genuinely wondering… is that not what we like anymore? I’m not going to pretend my life is perfect or my kids are angels because THEY ARE NOT. This year has been a huge adjustment. My youngest started kindergarten, makes straight 100s but HATES going, and comes home exhausted with an attitude to match. My girls are getting older, cue the hormones, and I’m just a 27-year-old teenager trying to balance being a mama, wife, employee, friend, and 47 other things. Some days I’ve got it together. Some days I’m overwhelmed and overstimulated. I can love my kids more than anything and still admit motherhood is HARD. I can be grateful and still have bad days. That’s real life, and that’s what I’ve always shared. If being authentic isn’t what people want anymore, I genuinely don’t know what to tell you. I’m not interested in creating a fake version of my life for social media. If you’re looking for perfect parenting, perfectly behaved kids, and a Pinterest-perfect life, baby, tag somebody else in because I AIN’T HER. 🤣❤️ Also I’m from the SOUTH, I speak cornbread and I’m loud. I don’t have an attitude this is my VOICE
