Alix Earle says she’s never read a book, soooo here are the books I’d recommend her. Instead of judgement, I think this is actually a really great opportunity to spotlight some books that are perfect for getting back into the habit of reading. They’re propulsive, twisty page-turners, brilliantly written while also being accessible. I hope this helps anyone out there who also hasn’t read a book in their adult life!! There’s so many amazing books waiting for you, if you’re open minded to finding them :) And remember just 10 pages a day is a short time commitment but will do so much for your brain 🤍 Welcome to BookTok Alix Earle 🫡

Jacob Elordi called this book a “masterpiece” so of course I had to read it. Here’s my book report for Angel Down by Daniel Krauss, the book that won the Pulitzer Prize!! And — spoiler alert — it really is amazing. Here are my thoughts, let me know yours if you’ve read it. More Jacob Elordi book recommendations on my feed :)

Everyone’s talking about one of my favourite authors — even Dua Lipa’s Service95 book club — sooo here’s my book report (with no spoilers) for Klara and the Sun!!! This was Kazuo Ishiguro’s first book published after winning the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2017, and only served to prove exactly why he deserved it. It’s a story about Artificial Friends, and a warning about the limits of robots to understand true human emotion, despite their best efforts. Now Klara and the Sun is coming to the big screen, directed by Taika Waititi and starring Jenna Ortega!! I’m so intrigued to see how these elements are incorporated into the film, and see this new iteration of the story. See you in the cinema October 23rd, eek!!!! @sonypictures.uk [ad]
