Finished another sketchbook 😁 Here’s some highlights! I use my sketchbook as a place for ideation and only occasionally do fully rendered drawings in it. I did the 100 faces challenge in this sketchbook so we get to see some fun portraits here. Honestly I want to do it again! It was such a good exercise. I also started grad school about halfway through this book so there’s a pretty clear shift in how the pages look. #sketchbooktour #drawing #illosketchbook #100faceschallenge #artistsoftiktok

Love a fun trend that can show a lot of my work at once. At different times during my art career I’ve gotten a lot of feedback that I should have a more consistent art style. What they really meant was that I should pick one medium. However, when I bring all of my art together I feel like it works very well despite the fact that I use every medium at my disposal. My key style choices are: glitter, tears, collage/layering and color! And of course my favorite theme: childhood trauma. #artistarttools #artstyle #oilpainting #womanartist #collage

I love oil painting but I only make about one painting a year. My biggest battle is always in my mind. One of my new creative goals is to stop overthinking every project and to start making! #oilpainting #hopecore #goalsetting #art
