What’s more embarrassing? Getting seasick or wearing motion sickness glasses ?

It’s official! I finally hit the 50 pounds lost mark. My daily non-negotiables: red light therapy and vibration plate for 15 minutes. Calorie deficit plus at least 130 g of protein from real foods and not powders. Walking at least 11 K steps. Drinking over 100 oz water.

My worlds collided in clay 🌊🧜‍♀️✨ I’m officially getting into my jar era at Personal Ceramics, and this one might be my favorite yet. In intermediate class, we learned how to make jars with lids… and I got to play with underglaze pigment paints, which work almost like little watercolors. So naturally… I made a beachy mermaid jar. 🐚 The top is lined with waves, I drew tiny seashells with an underglaze pencil, and there’s even a little mermaid tail sneaking out of the waves if you look closely. 🧜‍♀️🌊 The first clip is the piece before firing, and the second is the finished jar after firing + a clear glaze. It’s still so surreal watching something go from a lump of clay → an actual functional piece. I love seeing my skills evolve with every class. And honestly, one of my favorite things about ceramics is that you don’t have to be “an artist” to make cool stuff… you can literally learn how to do this. If you’re in Santa Barbara and have been wanting to try pottery, check out Personal Ceramics. This is your sign. 🏺💕 #PersonalCeramics #SantaBarbaraCeramics #PotteryTok #CeramicArt #mermaidcore @personalceramics
