This is a promise to myself that I won’t be afraid to grieve out loud, to feel without fear. Due to my health, I have not been able to pursue art much outside of my home. Yet, within that isolation, my desire to explore self portrait photography and express my pain through music has given birth to a new world of creative expression, one where I have found solace, meaning, and a way to give shape to the emotions I cannot always put into words.
