Critters 2 (1988) cast then and now Critters 2 (1988) is the sequel to the 1986 cult sci-fi horror comedy Critters. Directed by Mick Garris, the film continues the story of the small, ravenous alien creatures known as Critters, who have terrorized a small town in rural America. The story picks up shortly after the events of the first film. The Critters, originally seen in Critters, have been captured by the government and stored in a facility, but they manage to escape and wreak havoc again. This time, they target Grover’s Bend, a town that is preparing for its annual Easter celebration. The creatures start to attack and eat everything in sight, including people, while multiplying at an alarming rate. Brad Brown (played by Scott Grimes) returns from the first film, now older and back in his hometown. He teams up with the local sheriff, Sheriff Harv, and some of the townsfolk to fight off the Critters. Along the way, they encounter Charlie McFadden (played by Don Keith Opper), a quirky, lovable alien hunter who was part of the team that originally fought the Critters, and who has returned to help once again. The Critters, still small but deadly, are now more relentless and cunning than ever. In one of the film's memorable scenes, they even create a monstrous "Critter Ball" by rolling together, increasing their destructive power. Critters 2 delivers a blend of gory horror, action, and humor, in keeping with the campy tone of the first film. While the film doesn’t take itself too seriously, it does manage to create a fun, tense atmosphere, combining B-movie charm with moments of genuine thrills. Cast: Scott Grimes, Eddie Deezen, Barry Corbin, Lin Shaye, Liane Curtis, Sam Anderson, Roxanne Kernohan, Herta Ware, Lindsay Parker, Don Keith Opper, Terrence Mann, Cynthia Garris, Douglas Rowe, Tom Hodges, The movie was well-received by fans of the original, with its combination of 1980s sci-fi horror and lighthearted comedy, and has since become another beloved entry in the Critters series. #castthenandnow #movie #filmevolution #retro #transformations #Critters2 #Critters1988 #Critters2 #Critters21988 #Critters1988 #Critters #Critters21988casttransformation #casttransformation #transformation #cast #ScottGrimes #EddieDeezen #BarryCorbin #LinShaye #LianeCurtis #SamAnderson #RoxanneKernohan #HertaWare #LindsayParker #DonKeithOpper #TerrenceMann #CynthiaGarris #DouglasRowe #TomHodges #castthenandnow #beforeandafter #transformationactors #aliens #BradBrown #GroversBend #horror #monster #CritterBall #cultclassic #1980s
