Jennifer has been facing more than anyone should have to. Because of tumor growth, she has lost about 70% of her vision. The tumor is pressing against her eye, and she describes what she sees now as the world viewed from the bottom of a swimming pool — shapes without clarity, light without detail. Watching her try to navigate daily life this way has been heartbreaking. We’re also moving into a smaller place farther from the medical center. We didn’t expect this fight to last this long, and staying close to the hospital has become financially impossible. This move isn’t a step forward — it’s what we have to do to keep going.
