Big gulp when I look at these clips 🥺 I’ll never forget the battle it took to bring my son into this world. I thought I had been through a lot in my life, but nothing compared to my birth experience. My labor began naturally (but extremely painful) and I fought so hard to have an unmediated and natural birth. I endured so much at home and at the birth center before my hospital transfer… and then every step after, I kept thinking the end of my pain was near, but the days kept turning to nights until I had to allow myself to say yes to the c-section. To me, the interventions felt like giving up, but after reflecting, I learned that I was wrong in thinking that.
