Question/Matter for Oral Answer. To: The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister and the Minister responsible for Sports RE: KITARA FC DENIAL TO USE HOIMA CITY STADIUM Rt. Hon. Speaker, I rise to draw the attention of the House to the urgent plight of Kitara FC, a club that has proudly represented Uganda on several occasions and raised our national flag high. Unfortunately, the club’s current playing facility is not suitable for competitive matches, yet its request to use Hoima City Stadium has reportedly been denied. I humbly appeal to the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister and the Minister responsible for Sports to urgently intervene and grant Kitara FC temporary access to this national facility, subject to the applicable safety and operational requirements. This is about supporting our sportsmen, protecting Uganda’s football reputation, and ensuring that a club that has served the country is not disadvantaged by the lack of a suitable playing ground. What urgent government intervention in the public interest are available to this club that serves as the pride of my people?. Ismail Kasule
