Before I left the UK I thought to myself - If you only post your winning trades, ask yourself why. Wins are easy to share. The losses, missed entries and moments you broke your own rules? That’s where the honest work starts. If you hide those, you hide the very things you need to improve. I’m currently documenting my two 100K challenges. I’ve taken one trade on each account: one is roughly at break-even, and the other is down 1%. I’m keeping my risk the same and sharing the process as it happens. At the end of each week, I want to be able to say what I did well, what I got wrong and what I’m changing. I’d encourage you to do the same in your trading community. The moment you feel tempted to hide a trade is probably the moment you need to look at it most closely. Wins and losses. Both go in the journal. Monday: loss. Tuesday: loss. Thursday: loss. Friday: loss. Not the week I wanted. But if I’m sharing the wins, I’m sharing this too. Crete has been hit by storms, I’m sleeping on the sofa, my neck is bloody sore and my sleep has been poor. That’s the context. The decisions to trade were still mine. Being accountable means more than posting red numbers. It means reviewing my execution, recognising when I’m not in a good state to trade, and acting on it. No pretending. No chasing it back.
