Tell your photographer you want a session here🎁 I planned this set completely around the britestar vintage Christmas ceramic lights. When I think of the main decor item my mom used in the 90s outside - it is these! Christmas feels best when nostalgia is involved. I took these videos and photos at 12:45 so you can see it in the brightest light. The two trees in the side and the ceramic lights are on. You are encouraged to move things about - just put them back for the next photographer before you leave. Remember, we do allow up to 3 groups/hr (not including extended family sessions) to book one studio. If you're doing more, book a greenhouse even if you're not using it. Our property is small and this helps other photographers book a different studio while you're here. Our single studio sessions have gotten a little wild lately so we will be changing that policy in 2027. I hope you enjoy the blow mold snowman, vintage lights, vintage sled and cozy blanket props. Have the best time! Enjoy the season, Ashley and Tom #christmastruck #nostalgia #photoshoot #christmasset #familyphotos

We are thankful for you! There were so many fears I had before we got started renting our home property to photographers. One was, what if they don't like it? So we started small. We never booked anything that wasn't already completed. We cleaned up our messes in between renovations. And we worked during hours that most people would have been asleep because we were booked so often. What a complete blessing. I still have a hard time looking back a couple years to what life looked like before and all the worries and what ifs. It's hard to remember because it seems so foreign to what it is like now. Our goal was always to make our property more beautiful - not just for us, but for our kids and grandkids. And we're doing that by making it beautiful for you first. We love this life. That said, we still have lots of availability for the holidays so check out our website or DM me! www.holmsteadstudio.com Enjoy the season, Ashley and Tom Cover image and the pretty end images by @jessicafieldsphotography #glasshouse #familyphotos #beforeandafter #photography #photoshoot

When you come early to your reservation, you never know what you'll see 😅 Usually, there's a session or two before you and you may block them in or there isn't and you catch me hanging from a tree 😅 It's the busy season and it really does require you to be on time (no earlier than 5 minutes) and you must wait to exit your vehicle for the photographer to escort you on property. Most of the time, they've been here before and likely met me and asked me all the questions before your session. They know the property and want you to have the best time here - just like us. If you want to come out for a tour, DM me! I also have a few promo spot left for 11/3 if you're interested in our Christmas sets! Enjoy the season, Ashley and Tom In 2024, we opened our home property to photographers to come and enjoy private sessions in curated lifestyle spaces - a real 1940s cottage property and our renovated greenhouses in Knoxville, TN. #photoshoot #photolocation
