SNOWBIRD SZN EP3: Maine said “not so fast” for anyone who’s ever packed away their sweaters while it was literally snowing outside ❄️ we did not make it out before the first snow lol. today was all about packing, and the hardest part for me is always my clothes. i own way too many and i’m a chronic overpacker, so narrowing it down is genuinely painful. everything got vacuum sealed into one big suitcase (plus a carry on, obviously), my winter clothes got packed away, and six months of hair, skincare, and makeup got squeezed into one bag we also turned my getting ready room back into a guest room, locked up everything we want to keep safe, and started on the fridge 2 days until we leave for Miami!! tomorrow is the final clean + packing the bronco 🌴 overpackers, how many suitcases are you bringing on a trip like this?? be honest 😅

SNOWBIRD SZN EP4: day 1 on the road (and 9 hours in the car) for anyone who’s ever fit their entire life into one car and still said “we packed light this year” 😅 we officially left Maine!! yesterday was tetris-ing six months of our lives into the bronco and one final top to bottom clean of the house. this morning we put the bikes on the back, tucked tim’s truck away in the garage for the winter, and grabbed one last coffee from our favorite local spot before hitting the road nine hours, way too many podcasts, and the classic massachusetts traffic later, we made it to our airbnb in connecticut. and when you’re this close to new york you HAVE to get the pizza 🍕 tomorrow: driving to virginia to put the bronco on the auto train!! what’s your go-to road trip snack?? #snowbird #youngsnowbird #snowbirdszn #roadtrip
