-For Immediate Release- WESTERN NORTH NPP TO HOLD REGIONAL THANKSGIVING CHURCH SERVICE The western north regional executive committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Chairman Pious Vicent Abakah will on Sunday, 13th September 2026, hold a regional thanksgiving church service at the Asawinso Methodist church in the Sefwi Wiawso constituency, commencing at 8:00am. The service is being organised to give thanks to almighty God for his guidance, protection and blessings upon the Party and its members, while seeking divine direction and strength as the party prepares for the task ahead. More importantly, the thanksgiving service marks the first step in the regional executive committee's renewed efforts to foster unity, strengthen collaboration and bring the entire western north NPP family together as we work towards rebuilding the party and securing victory in election 2028. The regional executive committee therefore extends a warm invitation to all NPP members, former and current executives, former parliamentary candidates, former government appointees, constituency executives, electoral area and polling station executives, communicators, party sympathisers and well wishers to join in this important occasion. Let us come together in faith, fellowship and unity as we begin a new chapter for the NPP in the Western North Region. UNITED IN FAITH, UNITED IN PURPOSE, UNITED FOR VICTORY 2028. WESTERN NORTH REGIONAL COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTORATE. Dear cocoa farmers, As we prepare to release an official statement on the 2026/2027 cocoa farmgate price, kindly take note of the following facts: #1. The total FOB price from which the government arrived at the GH₵ 2,650 figure is GH₵ 3,732.39 per bag. #2. On every single bag of cocoa, the government deducts GH₵ 1,082.39, even when using its own biased FOB formula. #3. Currently, the actual international market value of a bag of cocoa is approximately GH₵ 4,157.44. #4. We cannot allow the government to continue taking advantage of our farmers. #5. Adding a mere GH₵ 63 to a bag of cocoa is daylight robbery.
