EAST LONDONS BEST UNDERRATED AUTHENTIC TURKISH SPOT . @Adana Ocakbasi Dalston In Dalston. This spot took me by surprise. I thought it’s going to be the usual spot which generally serves similar or the same meats as most Turkish places. However these guys are serving meat like you would get in fine dining Turkish places but in traditional and modern settings. Everything is screaming premium here, from their fresh Turkish bread to the pide cooked in a wood-fired oven. To even their Adana which is hand chopped and grounded rather than machine blend . The lamb Adana is hands down the best lamb Adana I’ve had from a Turkish place. Even better than most fine dining ones. You can tell it’s hand-grounded because the meat was so crumbly and delicate and just melts like butter. Wallah just try this and thank me later. SUPER AFFORDABLE SPOT NEAR TOWER BRIDGE . @𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐄 UK Located on Tower Bridge Road. This is their newest branch down south of the river. And apart from their munch box every dish itself is way under £10. I’ve had their food in Chadwell Heath which is also a perfect spot for solid tasty flavoursome comfort food. This is a smaller branch for grab and go . Their Philly cheese steak is super soft and melts in your mouth. Honestly, it just glides in like butter. Their doner is better than most pfc doner. Proper flavoursome spicy doner. Their burgers are aged Aberdeen Angus and that itself is so underrated for me. They also do all sorts of other bites like these super affordable munch boxes £17.99 Korean one you get 2 Corn Dogs, 6 Korean Wings, Brisket Loaded Fries and a Drink £16.99 - 2 Bao Bun, 6 Gyoza, Chicken Loaded Fries and a drink . These boxes can easily feed 2. Both were banging and it really depends on what you’re feeling. Brisket loaded fries were so moreish and addictive. You won’t be disappointed with the taste and price on this one. The salt beef bagel was soft and tender. Their chicken burger is uniquely simple but effective.
