“I’ll call you back.” You meant it when you said it. Then life happened. You got busy. You forgot. But what if that person wasn’t calling just to talk? What if they were calling because they needed somebody to listen? That’s the meaning behind this commercial. SALTY comes from Matthew 5:13… “You are the salt of the earth.” To us, being SALTY means showing up. Being the friend who listens. Being present enough to notice when somebody isn’t quite themselves. Because sometimes people don’t need you to fix them. They don’t need a speech. They don’t need advice. They just need to be heard. So this is bigger than a sweatshirt. It’s a reminder: You said you’d call back. Did you? Check on your people. Call the friend you haven’t heard from. Sit with somebody. Listen without rushing them. Today I took a brief walk around my neighborhood. Watching the leaves fall, I felt something I didn’t expect… hope. The trees were letting go, and somehow, it reminded me of God’s promises. What looks like loss in one season can make room for growth in another. People, places, and experiences have seasons in our lives, too. Something can have meaning without remaining the same forever.
