The acting industry is one of the toughest industries to break into , especially when you haven't had the opportunity to attend drama school and you start age 49 are adhd , working class and from the north of England. This is for a tv advert, but to get booked means I've been up against thousands of other potential candidates for this role. I have taken roles on coronation street, brassic , 2 films on Prime and 1 movie due for release in theatres in the US. I have natural talent and have enhanced that talent by attending night drama classes for the last 9 years , I have taken roles in student movies for free , I have worked hard . But talent will always shine through once you secure opportunities to get yourself out there . This is the first bit of paid work I have secured in almost 2 years and it maybe another 1 , 2 or even 5 years before I get another opportunity or maybe tomorrow! Who knows , but one thing is definitel, you can win the race unless you compete #veganactor #actor #manchesteractor#northernactor #actorslife #actorsoftiktok
