Annual Blackpool Senior Trip Yesterday we set off on our trip to Blackpool taking 13 guests for a fabulous afternoon tea at The Tower Ballroom which was amazing to watch the dancers and soak up the reminiscent atmosphere. We had a lovely meal and celebrated Carol’s birthday before catching the tram and seeing the illuminations. Everyone is having a truly wonderful time, making new friends and being together. Kindly funded by Community Foundation for Calderdale and Hillards Charitable Trust 💙

💙 Seniors Blackpool Trip 💙 We had a fabulous second day in Blackpool where we strolled along the promenade & pier. Played in the arcades, went for lunch then went to see Alice In wonderland on ice at the pleasure beach. The show was incredible with some of guests saying g it’s the best show they’ve seen! We had a lovely dinner at the hotel, played bingo and watched the entertainment in the evening. Huge thanks to funding from Community Foundation for Calderdale and Hillards Truet for making this possible. #cmbatingisolation #makingnewfriends

Yesterday’s Focus4Hope Afternoon Tea event was truly special. 💜 We had a wonderful afternoon putting smiles on faces as we welcomed and looked after our guests, serving drinks and a delicious afternoon tea. The entertainment was fantastic, with a fabulous ABBA tribute getting everyone singing along and up on the dance floor. It was wonderful to see so much joy, laughter and dancing throughout the afternoon. A huge thank you to our incredible team of volunteers for taking such great care of everyone and helping make the event such a success. Your kindness, dedication and enthusiasm made all the difference. #Focus4Hope #Community #Volunteers #AfternoonTea #MakingADifference
