It’s called a split wing. The wing root flies at a higher angle of attack than the wingtip, causing the root to stall first. That gives you buffet and warning signs before the wingtip stalls, helping keep the ailerons effective longer. This screen told us EXACTLY what was failing. Using the Dynon SkyView System by @DynonAvionics , we were able to identify which cylinder was acting up instead of just guessing. By confirming it was the left magneto and matching it to the affected cylinder, we were able to narrow down exactly which spark plug needed to be inspected. Modern avionics like this are incredible troubleshooting tools, not just fancy displays.
