13 years ago I did something that I'm still not sure if I were the first to do or not. I couldn't find anything in searches online back then. But I fire hula hooped upside down while hanging from an aerial Lyra! #firehoop #fireperformer #hooping #hulahoop #hulahoopchallenge #upsidedown #aerialist #lyra #lyrahoop #aerialhoop #aeriallyra #aerialarts #hoopdance #hoop #FireGypsy #fyp #foryoupage #reels #reelschallenge #reelsfyp #flowarts #performer #hoopersofinstagram #circus #circuseverydamnday #circuslife #hula

This video from 2018 went viral recently featuring my big fall from the Hingham 4th of July Parade. I couldn't believe someone recognized me in it, and have no idea why someone would upload it 6 years later. But here it is. About 5 minutes into walking the parade, a mini hoop juggler dropped one and cuffed my stilts as I was walking. It happened very quickly. When you're in a parade, your job is to interact with the spectators. You don't really need to watch where you're going as much because it's a flat road that generally doesn't change and obstacles aren't usually a factor. Especially since I'm walking with several other performers in the group that are usually supposed to act as a spotter. Well, this one time, a mini hoop juggler was too close in front of me and dropped a hoop right in front of my path and didn't bother to let me know as I was interacting with the crowd. By the time someone else shouted to me, my inertia was already into the next step and I scooped the hoop, got stilt cuffed, and went down. Luckily the way my stilts are designed it keeps your knees from hitting the ground. So as long as you do a proper knees first stilt fall, you're good to go. I was uninjured, not a scratch, and got up and kept going. It looks bad, but I was totally fine. We learned that day that you don't put hoop jugglers before the stilters haha! #FireGypsy #stilts #stilt #stiltwaker #stiltwalking #accident #fall #hingham #4thofjuly #4thofjulyparade #hingham #4thofjulyparade #parade #independenceday #independencedayparade #fireworks #circus #circuseverydamnday #cirque #officialfiregypsy #viral #reels #fyp #shorts

Baby Maeve is learning to crawl! It's incredible watching her progress each day. But I think at the end we find out what her biggest motivation is 🤣 #baby #infant #cute #children #motherhood #momlife #reels #fyp #kids #crawling #kitty #cat #mom #progress #FireGypsy #fyp #foryoupage #silly #funny #babygirl #viral #babylove #babytok #momsoftiktok
