Despite the fact that it’s been around for more than 25 years, Pearl's Value and Vintage was brand new to me! To be fair, I don’t get to Squamish a whole lot, but this was a delightful discovery that totally makes it worthwhile to do the Sea to Sky. What I love about this place is the variety of different types of inventory they have (clothes, media, home goods, electronics, even baby stuff and luggage), the pricing (which is really affordable) and the fact that the proceeds go to a good cause. I discovered @secretnailsupply quite by accident, walking by on Kingsway, and I was immediately impressed with both their selection of stuff and also the prices. If you’re in your DIY Nail Era like I am, you’ll love this place! It’s technically for professionals (aestheticians and nail techs) BUT you can buy a yearly membership for $10, and to me, it’s worth it, because the prices here are so much cheaper than at the drugstore or even Amazon! #nails #diynails #nailgirly #vancouvernails #discount

Let's go thrifting on the Sunshine Coast! There are SO MANY good thrift stores on the Sunshine Coast, I had to split this into two parts. Today, we hit up all the thrift/consignment spots in Gibsons, and next, I'll show you Sechelt. If you've never been, the Sunshine Coast is just a 45 minute ferry from Horseshoe Bay, so it's completely doable to go for a day trip and come home the same day. Oh--and, you only pay one way. There's no charge to come home. It's a great place to explore, so stay longer if you can! 1. Stop number 1 is always at Beach Comber Coffee to grab a brew and a donut. Thrifting is WORK, y'all! 2. Across the street from Beachcomber, you'll find Reasons to Live Bookstore & Starlet Vintage 3. You have to backtrack a little, or else you can hit this one on your way into Gibsons, to Sunshine Coast Community Services Thrift Store. This is in aid of the Food Bank and other community services on the Sunshine Coast, and it's a really fun one! Lots of nooks & crannies to explore. 4. Beyond Consignment and Coast Kids Reshop. Beyond Consignment is run by pro surfer Ema, and you'll find the prices higher here, but the quality of the clothes is nicer, too. 5. Rounding it all out is Prancing Pony, a really fun and quirky thrift store where you never really know what you'll find! Where did I miss? There is a Salvation Army that I didn't get to... and by the time I went back, it was too late, as I was running for the ferry!
