🚧 FESTAC LINK BRIDGE: WILL THE HEIGHT BARRIERS STAY? If you regularly use the Festac Link Bridge, you may have noticed that height barriers were installed in July to restrict heavy-duty vehicles and improve road safety. Since then, it’s been a back-and-forth with the barriers installed, bent, removed, installed again and finally destroyed at different times over the period. 📹 Here’s the timeline we observed: ▪️ July 30–31: Barriers installed. ▪️ August 1: A barrier bent. ▪️ August 3: A barrier removed. ▪️ August 4: The barrier on the outward Festac side bent out of position. ▪️ August 20: A barrier was no longer in place. ▪️ August 28: Footage showed a damaged barrier. With road safety a key concern, will these barriers eventually remain in place? 📢 Residents of Amuwo-Odofin, what have you observed? Do you think the barriers will stay, or will the back-and-forth continue? Share your thoughts in the comments. 👇🏽 #festaconline #Festac #AmuwoOdofin #FestacLinkBridge #lagos
