One day you’re sandboarding down giant desert dunes in Huacachina, the next you’re taking in the ocean views in Paracas. Then you’re hiking through colorful mountains, exploring the Sacred Valley, and standing in front of Machu Picchu like… how is all of this in ONE country?! 😭 And that’s what makes Peru such an incredible place to visit. If Peru isn’t on your travel list yet, this is your sign to change that! ✨ @peruhop Save this for your Peru Itinerary and send it to someone who would love to visit! There's a bus in Peru that drops you off at places most tourists never find. 😱 From sandboarding down desert dunes in Huacachina and spotting wildlife in Paracas to exploring the Colca Canyon and making your way to Machu Picchu, there's SO much to see and do here. 😭 And if you're planning a trip to Peru, one thing I'd look into is Peru Hop. It's a bus service that connects some of Peru's most popular destinations, so you can explore at your own pace without having to organize every leg of your journey yourself. Here's why it could be worth booking: 🚌 Flexible travel: Choose your route, decide where you want to spend more time and adjust your travel dates according to the pass conditions. 📍 Multiple destinations: Travel between Peru's major tourist destinations without having to book a completely separate transport service for every leg. 🙋♀️ Local guides: Get recommendations, travel tips and help navigating each destination. 🏨 Convenient pickups: Selected stops offer accommodation pickups and drop-offs, making those travel days a little easier. ✨ Extra experiences: Depending on your pass, you can also enjoy selected included tours and hidden-gem stops along the way. If you're planning your first trip to Peru and want to see as much as possible without stressing over every transport connection, it's definitely worth looking into. Save this for your Peru itinerary and send this to someone who is planning to visit! Have you travelled with Peru Hop before, or would you consider it for your next Peru adventure? Planning the logistics to visit Machu Picchu can be very confusing at first 😅, so here's exactly how we got there. We took a bus ride from Cusco through the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo first. From there we boarded the Inca Rail train and made our way through the Andes to Machu Picchu Pueblo (also called Aguas Calientes). We went First Class for this leg and honestly didn't expect the train itself to be such a highlight. Fine dining, wine pairings, a bar/lounge car, live saxophone the whole way through... it made the journey feel like part of the trip, not just a way to get somewhere. Once you're in town, one more bus takes you up to the actual site or you can hike up a steep path if you prefer that (takes about an hour). And then you finally get that view 🥹 📌 Save this if you're planning a trip to Peru and share this with someone who would love to visit! Were you assuming you could just drive there too?
