Four months from a hole in the ground to a roof that will be sealed and insulated in the next few weeks. Acreage new build, foundation poured in May, brick going on the mock-up wall now, Evergy pulling power after that. The finished house is the last week of the job. This is the rest of it. #kcbuilder #residentialconstruction #customhomes #kansascity #homebuilder

100 year old house in Kansas City. Brick outside, concrete block inside, not a stick of wood framing in the walls. Cutting new openings means steel lintels and notched joists, and every wall is a surprise. Closet and office addition over the old porch plus a primary suite remodel. #oldhouse #renovation #homeaddition #kansascity #construction

The part of a remodel nobody budgets for is their own taste. Cabinets, counters, tile, lighting, every one has a version that's a little nicer than the one you picked, and you'll see it after the number's set. So we ask about all of it before the estimate, not after, and then we round up. Coming in under a high number is a good day. Coming in over a low one never is. Would you want to see every option, or only the ones that fit the budget? #KansasCityBuilder #CustomHome #kansascity #construction #homebudget
