We traveled to Batumi Georgia 🇬🇪 to experience this 8,000 year old wine making tradition. Per UNESCO Georgia is the where wine was invented dating back 6,000 B.C. The Qvevri wine-making technique is a cherished Georgian tradition, predominantly in villages with unique grape varieties. Using a clay vessel, or Qvevri, wine is made, aged, and stored. Skills are passed down within families during community harvests. The wine-making involves pressing grapes and fermenting them in buried Qvevris for several months. This method is widespread among Georgians, with wine playing a central role in daily life and celebrations. The tradition deeply influences Georgian culture, evident in their oral histories and songs. 📍Batumi, Georgia 🇬🇪 🎥 @visitbatumi Winery location: @adjarianwinehouse #visitbatumi #batumi #aliandnino #love #georgia #visitgeorgia #visitajara #georgiatravelmoments #georgiatourismpartner

Her family honors her with the haka before her last college game in a show of love and support 🥲♥️ The haka is a ceremonial Māori war dance that is usually performed in a group as a show of the tribe’s pride, strength, and unity. The term comes from the words “kapa,” meaning to form a line, and “haka”, which means dance. It is performed to welcome distinguished guests and at ceremonies to prepare for a battle ⚔️🛡️ (Via: @kazzie_t)

A leisurely ride down the scenic Yana River moat with a boatman guide paddling! 🚣 Yanagawa, located in the southern part of Fukuoka, is a castle town with a history dating back over 400 years. When the castle was built, water-filled moats were built throughout town to protect it, giving rise to Yanagawa’s reputation as the city of water. Today, it offers a leisurely tour that lasts about an hour and cruises down a 4-kilometer stretch of these moats. 🎥 @breathtaking.japan 📍Japan 🇯🇵 🎶 里の秋-宗次郎
