Join me for some Mobility & Breath work while I talk about my rare heart condition! 🧘‍♀️🫀#fyp #mobilitymonday #wolffparkinsonswhitesyndrome #rareheartcondition #fitnessjourney

Slow & Steady wins the race 🥇 Especially if you have a rare heart condition like WPW!🫀 Managing my heart condition is my #1 goal ! 🥇 One of the ways to do that is by slowing down my reps to prevent those sudden spikes that can trigger that extra electrical pathway! ⚡️ Focusing on the squeeze not the speed! 💪🏼 DISCLAIMER ‼️ *Ask your cardiologist before starting a new routine. * Every Patient is different: Some are asymptomatic while some have frequent episodes. * Listen to your body and respect your own body’s tolerance level that day. * Focus on Consistency over Intensity.  * Safe Movement is better than no movement. ❤️ #fitnessmotivation #fitnessjourney #wolffparkinsonwhitesyndrome #fyp

Same exercise, different purpose. 🫀✨ Living with Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome means navigating an extra electrical pathway in the heart. This pathway can suddenly trigger rapid heart rates (SVT) or dangerous arrhythmias. As you can see in the first clip, I used to reach for heavy weights often, thinking I had to in order to reach my fitness goals. But protecting my heart meant changing my approach. Here is why the switch to bodyweight exercises, like these Bulgarian split squats , is an absolute superpower for WPW warriors 👇 🫀Heart Rate Control: It allows you to build intense lower-body strength while keeping your heart rate in a safe, predictable zone. 🫁 No Strain Spikes: Heavy lifting often causes you to hold your breath and bear down. Bodyweight removes that pressure, preventing sudden rhythm triggers. 🛑 Instant Safety: If an episode starts, you can stop immediately and safely—no heavy dumbbells to drop. A diagnosis changes the strategy, but it never stops the grind. 💪🏼 ‼️DISCLAIMERS * Ask your cardiologist before starting a new routine. * Every Patient is  different: Some are asymptomatic while some have frequent episodes. * Listen to your body and respect your own body’s tolerance level that day. * Focus on Consistency over Intensity.  * Safe Movement is better than no movement.  #fyp #wolffparkinsonwhitesyndrome #fitnessaddict #gymmotıvatıon #rarecondition
