Fear may be loud, but it doesn’t have to control you. When you say “yes” to God, doubt, anxiety, and fear may try to convince you to stop. But remember Paul’s words to Timothy: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7 God never promised we wouldn’t face things that scare us. He promised to be with us through them. So when fear tells you to quit, remind yourself of what God has already given you: power, love, and a sound mind.
