This isn't your average lab equipment. It's a rare piece of herbal history! 🌿 Invented by eclectic pharmacist John Uri Lloyd, the remarkable Lloyd’s Extractor was designed to concentrate herbal extracts and gently remove alcohol through cold distillation. At Eclectic Herb, traditional herbal knowledge and careful craftsmanship come together to create our beautifully crafted, alcohol-free herbal glycerites. 🌱 Discover our Passion Flower, Parafight, and Echinacea Premium Blend. ✨ Explore our herbal glycerites at eclecticherb.com. 🌿 What does sustainable herbalism look like beyond the plant? Our journey through Appalachia with the Sustainable Herbs Initiative offered a closer look at the people, practices, and ecosystems behind the herbs we value. From medicinal plant cultivation to forest conservation and community knowledge, we were reminded that responsible herbalism starts with understanding where our herbs come from and the people who help bring them to us. Grateful to Ann Armbrecht and everyone who shared their knowledge and perspective along the way. 💚 #EclecticHerb #SustainableHerbs #Herbalism #PlantConservation #ResponsibleSourcing

🌿 What if you could preserve herbs closer to their fresh state? At Eclectic Herb, freeze-drying helps remove water from freshly harvested herbs using cold temperatures and a vacuum, helping preserve their delicate plant compounds. Here's a look at the process, from carefully harvesting fresh St. John’s Wort to freeze-drying it in small batches. ✨ The result? Freeze-dried herbs, as fresh as nature intended.
