🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 A QUICK PSA TO THE FRAGRANCE COMMUNITY ON TIKTOK. We need to talk about transphobia in the fragrance community, because loving fragrances, collecting cologne, reviewing perfumes, and sharing our passion for scent should never come at the expense of someone else’s dignity or identity. There is absolutely NO place for transphobia in this community. Being transgender is not a reason to mock someone, disrespect them, exclude them, misgender them intentionally, or make them feel unwelcome in a space where everyone should be able to share what they love. Fragrance is for EVERYONE, regardless of gender identity, sexuality, race, or background. A bottle of cologne doesn’t have a gender, and neither does the right to be treated with respect. It’s disappointing to see a community built around something as personal as fragrance become a place where people feel judged or targeted for simply being themselves. We can disagree on fragrance notes, compliment different scents, debate blind buys, and share different opinions about perfumes without attacking someone’s identity. There is a difference between having an opinion and using that opinion to dehumanize another person. So let me be clear: if you support transphobia, homophobia, racism, or sexism, this page is not for you. You are welcome to unfollow. I will ALWAYS stand against discrimination, and I will ALWAYS support people who deserve to exist authentically without being bullied for who they are.
