You do not need a seminary degree or overnight omniscience to grow in deep biblical literacy. God understands human limitations and calls believers to faithful, daily advancement in the knowledge of His Word. In this conversation, Dr. Michael Heiser shares his personal background, moving from a childhood with zero biblical knowledge to becoming a scholar through incremental, daily learning. He outlines the power of cumulative effort, the importance of weaning off flawed Bible study methods, and his goal to help everyday Christians access reliable sources and grow daily in their understanding of Scripture. #biblestudy #theology #heiser #unseenrealm

Heiser’s argument moves beyond whether extraterrestrial life exists. The fascinating question is what could happen if a particular interpretation of that possibility became widespread enough to reshape education, popular assumptions, and even the way humanity understands its own origins. 👽🧬 #Panspermia #HumanOrigins #UFOMythology #DRMSHCommunity

We have to have our pecking order correct: Jesus is preeminent, not Torah. When I hear about the more radical Hebrew Roots stuff, I just shake my head. It's like, “Come on, people. Don’t you have any context for what you’re reading? It’s not about becoming a Jew again.” This is precisely what Paul said wasn’t necessary and what Paul, in some of the more extreme cases, said was heretical. We have to have our pecking order correct here. Jesus is preeminent, not Torah. Torah’s a good thing. Paul praised the Torah in a number of passages. Okay. But he had the priorities correct. He had his theology correct. He knew what number one was, and what was number two. So, we don’t want to reverse that or make them co-equal. #heiser #torah #hebrewroots #oldtestament
