We’re mapping out the night run route right now on the computer so we can prerun it next weekend before sending you guys out. A little behind-the-scenes planning — we don’t just send you into the dark without a plan. We want everyone to have fun, from the race truck guys to the dudes in side-by-sides. This trail is shaping up to have it all: wide-open desert, long whoop sections, jumps, tight rocky trails, sand dunes — all under the night sky. Watch the video and let us know what you want to see out there. This route isn’t locked until next weekend, so now’s your chance to give input. If you’ve been to one of our past off-road night runs, drop your experience in the comments so others know what it’s all about. Let’s get the off-road community involved — and remember, let’s leave the desert cleaner than we found it. #ambassador @onX Offroad

Down For Mobbing x Desert Dime are linking up with the off-road community to take over Johnson Valley for another night run this summer. JOHNSON VALLEY NIGHT RUN – AUGUST 23 Pre-meet: 7:00 PM Roll out: 8:30 PM Location: Johnson Valley, CA This place is iconic — King of the Hammers territory with legendary 4x4 rock crawling and wide open desert trails. From sand and rocks to whoops and dune jumps, this area has everything off-roaders love. All vehicles welcome. Prerunners, rock crawlers, side-by-sides, trucks, buggies — if it rolls, bring it. This is not a race. It’s about desert runs under the moonlight and good times with friends and family — same vibes as our last Barstow night run. We’re locking in the route and final details now. While we map it out, make sure to follow @desert.dime and @downformobbing for updates. Share this post. Tag your crew. Get ready to hit the dirt. By attending this event you are waiving any liability against Desert Dime / Jacob Enright & Down for Mobbing / Jason Berg

Can you believe we’re 8 days out? It’s really happening. Off-Road Summer Social is going down next Saturday, July 19th at @alesmithbrewing in San Diego. This isn’t some basic parking lot thing. This is a full-on gathering of the off-road world—trucks on display, vendors like @downsouth_motorsports and @probearing, and many more with cold beer, food trucks, raffle prizes, axe throwing, sim golf… yeah, all of it. But more than that, it’s about seeing your people. Swapping stories. Learning how someone figured out their suspension or kept their Baja truck together. It’s about the culture that keeps all of us building, breaking, fixing, and going back out again. This is where you show up, hang out, and get inspired. No fluff. Just good people, solid trucks, and the scene we love. See you there
