I am a strong advocate of singers *singing* their vocal harmonies. But when this is not possible you can use Variaudio to do this and the harmonies will be in-key! Watch the full video on the official Cubase channel - I’ve also made a video on my channel about how to create full vocal harmonies too! #mixingtips #masteringtips #cubase #musicproductiontips

Myth: The Tubetech CL1B adds “warmth” to vocals. Actually, the CL1B is one of the most transparent compressors on the market. Can it add punch to a vocal? HELL YEAH! Can it do magic on a voiceover? Piece of 🍰 But if you’re looking for a creamy tube like sound then this is NOT the compressor for you. There’s a reason why this compressor is so sought after by pop singers and hip hop artists. It has a modern sound that can be as transparent as you want but it can impart some attitude to aggressive vocals. Don’t let the looks and the tube topology fool you. This is a modern sounding compressor that sounds like no other. But if you look for warmth and tube vibes, look elsewhere! #compressor #mixingtips #cubase
