I just really like this song and my Halloween costume 🥹 Been wanting to go as Shego for a few years and I'm finally doing it. Living my childhood dreams aha. This year has been a journey to say the least. There's been so much focus on healing and growth. Learning how to love myself and being unapologetically authentically me. Learning what behavior I'm willing to accept and what I won't. I think we have expectations of people and that leads to disappointment among other things. If we don't have those expectations, especially if you are expecting what you would do from other people you can't be let down. My whole life I have been seeking validation from others and it's long overdue I put my foot down and understand my worth doesn't come from others opinions. I know who I am and who I am striving to be as a person, and that's enough for me. A lot of focus has gone to seeing people for who they show me they are over who I think they are or could be. I've spent entirely way too much time making excuses for people I care about for their actions and honestly it's time people take accountability. Most of my life I have tightened my grip, when I should have been letting go of things not meant for me. The universe is funny and always seems to give us exactly what we need, even if we can't recognize it in the moment. I've certainly had lots of moments I thought my world would end and I wouldn't make it through. Time to let things go and not exhaust my energy on things that clearly aren't for me. If it doesn't just flow it has to go. And finally I won't be any less of myself to make you comfortable. I'm gonna be very vulnerable here. I have strong energy and I know it....good or bad it can be overwhelming to people who are sensitive to energy. I get a lot of compliments on how beautiful a person I am and how positive I am from people who have never experienced the shadow side of me. But I am both light and dark. And my journey through life has had to be learned the hard way. Sometimes I really am sunshine, and sometimes I'm just wearing the mask. I'm kind to people in this world because I genuinely don't want anyone else to feel the way I do more often than I'd like to admit. I genuinely want to be that kind word, that warm smile, that sunshine in someone's life. I want the world to be a better place because I'm in it.
