The last-ever interview Thomas Markle is likely to give. He wants to make a last appeal for reconciliation with Meghan and a chance to meet the grandchildren he so wishes to see before he dies. He would also like it to be part of a process by which the Sussexes also make peace with Harry's father and brother. Thomas, who has recovered his speech following a severe stroke, says that he has shared grandchildren with the King of England for a whole year and neither has seen their grandchildren. Both he and King Charles have been described as hardworking, shy and grumpy at times, and he is willing to acknowledge the fact this may not have helped solve the situation. But, despite being heartbroken that his daughter failed to make contact or ask about him in thewake of his stroke, he is keen to reach out if only for one conversation - in whichever format she chooses. #goodmorning #meganmarkle #trendingnews #thomasmarkle #somethingtotalkabout #royalnews #familyfeud

Comedian and actor Russell Brand is facing further claims after more women have come forward with allegations, it has been reported. “Several women” are said to have contacted The Times and The Sunday Times in the wake of a joint investigation with Channel 4 Dispatches which aired at the weekend and which saw separate allegations of sexual assault from four women. The Times said on Monday that the new allegations have not yet been investigated, and will now “be rigorously checked”. Brand, 48, vehemently denies the allegations, which also includes claims of controlling, abusive and predatory behaviour, and said, in a video posted online on Friday night, that all of his relationships have been “consensual”. Media lawyer Mark Stephens tells TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer that a police investigation into allegations against Russell Brand is almost a "certainty.” “While he has the presumption of innocence, it doesn’t stop us talking about matters of enormous public interest. Ultimately the truth will out." #talktv #talkradio #russellbrand #brand #somethingtotalkabout #trendingnews #headlinenews #CelebrityDrama #theindependent #channel4 #dispatches
