After 2 months of rehearsing and developing, tonight is the North American premiere of @42balloons @chicagoshakes ! And to celebrate, here’s a few of my BTS captures! 📸 🎈 Being part of original work is always the dream and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. It’s genuinely some of the most fun I’ve ever had on stage. Jack Godfrey is a musical genius and has written bop after bop, paired with stunning direction by Ellie Coote , the most inventive choreography from Alexandra Sarmiento and mind-blowing orchestrations thanks to Joe Beighton. It’s been a huge process, but one that has been so creatively fulfilling - a reminder of why I fell in love with theatre all those years ago. I’m feeling lucky to have experienced this show alongside such beautiful company.
