Consider this your sign to plan a trip to the Eastern Sierra! 🏔️🤎 Seriously, this part of California is SO underrated, and there’s something to explore in every season! 😍 Think dramatic mountain peaks, crystal-clear alpine lakes, natural hot springs, waterfalls, incredible hiking trails, and some of the most unique landscapes in California. And the best part? You can make this trip whatever you want—a scenic road trip, a camping adventure, a relaxing hot springs getaway, or a weekend full of hiking with your dogs. 🐾 📍 Places worth adding to your itinerary: 🏔️ Convict Lake — incredible mountain views and an easy lakeside walk 🍂 June Lake Loop — scenic drive, beautiful lakes, and gorgeous fall colors in season 💦 Mammoth Lakes — alpine lakes, waterfalls, hiking, and endless outdoor adventures 🌋 Mono Lake — one of California’s most unique geological landscapes 🥾 Bishop & Bishop Creek Canyon — mountain scenery, hiking, and stunning fall foliage ♨️ Hot springs near Mammoth — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Fall colors are almost gone for this year, but honestly, you don’t need fall foliage to fall in love with this place. 🤎 And soon, the mountains will turn into a winter playground for skiing, snowshoeing, and snowy adventures! ❄️ It’s also a great destination for camping and traveling with dogs, although some trails and protected areas have restrictions. Save this for your next California road trip and send it to someone you’d love to explore the Eastern Sierra with! 🚗✨ #EasternSierra #MammothLakes #JuneLakeLoop #ConvictLake #CaliforniaRoadTrip
