Now that I turned 40, I’m realizing that life is always a work in progress. The milestones don’t mean you’ve ‘made it’. just reminders to keep embracing the journey, enjoying the ride, and being kind to yourself along the way. Here’s to the next decade of growth and adventure! 🫶🏽 #40sclub #millennial #pisces #40s

My heart goes out to everyone affected by the floods in my homeland 💔. Seeing the rivers rise, homes washed away and lives taken away reminds me of how deeply connected we are to the environment around us. Forests and wetlands aren’t just pretty landscapes. They are life-saving shields that slow down floods, protect communities, and keep our ecosystems healthy. Climate change is making storms stronger and more unpredictable, and yet we keep seeing nature treated as expendable. Too often, forests are cut down, wetlands drained, and rivers constrained, all for short-term profit leaving communities even more vulnerable. It’s heartbreaking to watch, and it’s unacceptable. We cannot just keep talking about “resiliency” as if it’s a badge of honor. Resiliency is reactive. It’s time to be proactive: to protect what’s left, restore what’s gone, and hold those who exploit our natural resources accountable. Politicians and business leaders who put profit over people and the planet should face consequences. This is about more than floods. It’s about the world we want to leave for our children. A world where disasters don’t have to destroy lives, where communities are supported, and where nature is respected and preserved. Protecting our environment is protecting ourselves. #climatejustice #climatechange #actonclimate
