Actors if you want SAG to listen to you, you need to put your membership on hold. You should be doing this anyway, because there is no reason to pay dues when you are not working. SAG just doesn’t want me to remind all of you to do this. Getting this takes just a few minutes. I just did it myself. To pause your SAG-AFTRA membership and avoid paying base dues, you need to apply for Honorable Withdrawal or Suspended Payment status. To qualify, you must have no outstanding balances and cannot be currently working in the union’s jurisdiction. You can process this status change through two methods:Online: Log in to your personal account at sagaftra.org. Navigate to “Membership Status” under “Membership Services” and send a request to the SAG-AFTRA Membership Department.By Phone: Call the Membership Department directly at (323) 549-6778. I am a civil rights activist who has fought the police for years. I am willing to take on this fight. @sagaftra @dantethecomic @rebekahkochan
