Not doing peachtober or inktober this year, but here's a bit of last year's peachtober planning! #onthisday #artfyp #fypartist #peachtober #inktober #animalillustration #inkdrawing #animallovers #blackbear #watercolors

This is a pretty simple tip to start practicing and applying to animal drawing even for beginners. Take time to look at how spots and stripes change size and shape depending on if you're looking directly at them, or if the form is turning away from you. Here I'm using a leopard as an example, but you can apply this to most animals and subjects that have surface patterns. 🍂🍂🍂 #animaldrawing #beginnerartisttips #bigcatsoftiktok #artistfyp #fypart

Sketchbook and pencil in hand, I arrived at The Cat's Whiskers cafe ready to draw ✍️ It's surprising how fast time flies by though 🥹 Before I knew it my time was up, but I dedicated some time to snuggles because it is necessary 🙂‍↕️ The first cat I drew was Arlo, who slept contentedly and only occasionally moved. This made studying individual elements like paws to warm up a little easier. The last slide is Daisy, who kept me company while I enjoyed my tea. When I'm prepping to sketch out and about I usually like to keep my tools minimal, which helps me avoid choice overwhelm and just get to the drawing part. This time I brought ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils, but only ended up reaching for the latter. 🍂🍂🍂 #sketchingart #catdrawing #catlover #catcafe #artfyp #sketchbookpage #animalsketch #artpractice #dailydrawing
