I’m late to the party but anyone that knows me knows I love Oud, Amber and Vanilla scents 😭 #fyp #foryou #chatgpt #viral

I’ve been fighting a battle with my own mind since I was 17. That’s a sentence I never thought I would openly say. For years, I kept so much of it to myself. I smiled, laughed, worked, spoke to people and carried on as though everything was okay, while inside I was fighting battles that most people knew nothing about. And the truth is, I still struggle. There have been moments where the pain felt bigger than me. Moments where I questioned my purpose, my future, and whether I had the strength to keep going. But somehow, I’m still here. One of the biggest things that kept me here was my faith in Allah. There were times when I felt like I had nothing left to hold onto, but I still had Allah. Even when I felt distant from my faith, I never truly stopped believing that Allah knew what I was going through. The Qur’an says: “Do not despair of the mercy of Allah.” Qur’an 39:53 That verse means something completely different to me after everything I’ve been through. Because sometimes you don’t need to have your whole life figured out. Sometimes you just need enough hope to make it through today. My faith didn’t magically make everything disappear. I still have difficult days. I still struggle. But Islam taught me that a difficult chapter isn’t the end of my story, and that Allah’s mercy is greater than whatever darkness I may feel. And I want to thank the REAL friends I’ve had along the way. The people who checked on me. The people who noticed when something wasn’t right. The people who stayed when I wasn’t myself. The people who listened without making me feel like a burden. You may never know how much your presence has meant to me. Sometimes a simple message saying “Are you okay?” can be the difference between someone feeling completely alone and someone remembering that they matter. So if you’re reading this and you’ve been fighting the same battle I’ve been fighting since I was 17, please know this: You are not weak. You are not a burden. You are not your darkest thoughts. And your story isn’t over. Turn to Allah. Make the dua, even if all you can say is “Ya Allah, please help me.” And reach out to someone you trust. A friend. A family member. An imam. A professional. Anyone who can sit with you through the darkness. You don’t have to fight it alone. I can’t promise that I’ll never struggle again. But I can say this: I’m still here. After everything I’ve been through, I thank Allah for giving me another day. Alhamdulillah. 🤍 #nationalsuiccidepreventionmonth #fyp #fy
