I went to pick up my GameStop pre-orders and started noticing something that didn’t add up. Items I reserved at specific prices were ringing up roughly $4–$5 HIGHER per item. $19.99 preorder ➡️ around $24.xx $59.99 preorder ➡️ around $64.xx And before anyone says “TAX” — I checked. I went through the transactions separately because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t calling them out over sales tax. When I questioned the pricing, I was told I’d have to COME BACK and speak with the manager. So now I want to hear from everybody else: 🤔 If you preorder something at an advertised/reserved price, should that price be honored at pickup? 🧾 Have you ever checked your GameStop receipt and found the pickup price was different from what you originally preordered it for? 💰 Pricing error? System issue? Or something customers need to start paying MUCH closer attention to? I’ve got the receipts. Now I’m going back to talk to the manager. What would YOU do?
