Many pitchers lock or tighten their elbow during the arm circle without even realizing it. When that happens, the arm loses its natural whip and the circle becomes stiff. Using the plyo ball board helps pitchers understand arm path and spacing. If the elbow stays tight and locked, the hand will hit the wall. When the arm relaxes and moves freely through the windmill, the hand clears the wall and the circle becomes smoother, faster, and more efficient. Loose arm. Better whip. More speed. #softballpitching #softballpitcher #pitchingmechanics #softballtraining #pitchingtips

This drill challenges your balance and forces your body to stay under control. Starting elevated puts you in a tougher position so your legs have to create real power. It trains your core and stabilizers to stay engaged so your movement becomes more consistent. If you can move explosive from here, it will show up when you get back on flat ground. #softballpitcher #fastpitchsoftball #pitchingtips #pitchinglessons
