New #Coding Experiment - #GameOfLife clock After building Conway's Game of Life, I decided to use the same logic to build this clock. I’m using #p5js text to points function to get the coordinates of the current time but if you're using the latest version of p5 js, you should definitely check out the new text to contours function. #generativeart #creativetechnology #techtok #interactivedesign #design #dev #interactiveart #creativetechnologist #creativecode #interactive #creativetech #ui #ux #creativecodeart #designtok #p5jsart #typography #typographyart #interactivetypography #dynamictypography #experimentaltypography #web

New #Coding Experiment - Shakespeare Monkey I’m finally diving into #GeneticAlgorithms, and I’m starting with the Shakespearean Monkey. The Infinite Monkey Theorem states that a monkey hitting random keys will eventually type Hamlet. Mathematically true, but in reality, the universe would likely end before it finishes. New #Coding Experiment - Smart rockets The Smart Rockets #algorithm is an evolutionary optimization process that uses genetic selection to iteratively refine the flight paths of digital agents toward a specific target. Each rocket has a series of movement instructions. The dots with the best genes are selected and their DNA is mixed. With each new generation, the flying dots get a little bit better at reaching their target.
